Relatively easy install, with minimal tools. The size of the unit in my case required me to swap my garbage disposal (tight cupboard space). My advice for anyone installing is make sure all your lines are pressed in tight, and drill your drain hole as low and close to the trap as possible - water pressure coming out is pretty high and it will spray up into your sink otherwise. Everything works great and the wife is happy.
It really worked and could see the change of TDS and the taste of water
Installed this filter in under 15 minutes, and the water instantly went from “meh” to “mountain spring vibes.” I don’t have lab equipment to test mineral levels or pH, but I do have taste buds—and they’re happy. RO water usually feels a bit too stripped-down, like it lost its soul along the way. This thing brings it back. The water tastes smoother, more balanced, and just... right. Like it remembered who it was before life got complicated.
It came with everything I needed—mounting clips, extra fittings, and even a bypass in case I need to swap it out later. That kind of foresight wins points in my book. If you're running a reverse osmosis system and want your water to taste less like a science experiment and more like a glacier melted just for you, this filter’s worth grabbing.
I love my RO system, but cannot stand the taste of RO water without a remineralization filter. I don't think it's very good for you, either. This filter adds minerals back in, making the water healthy, and giving it the same taste as bottled water, basically. I haven't had it for a whole year, but I think it's a good value even if it only lasted 6 months. So far it's still going strong at about 3 months of use.
This RO system has been a game-changer. The water tastes incredibly clean, and the compact design fits perfectly under my sink. Installation was surprisingly easy, and the 3:1 pure-to-drain ratio is a big plus for eco-conscious folks. If you’re serious about drinking quality water, this is worth the investment.
I’ve been using the MIZUDO RO system for a few months now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality and performance. The water tastes incredibly fresh and clean, and it’s given me peace of mind knowing I’m drinking safe water every day. Everything has been working perfectly, and I really appreciate the thoughtful design and efficiency of the system. Keep up the great work—I’m definitely a happy customer!
The MIZUDO Remineralization Filter is an excellent five-star addition to any RO system. This takes water purification to the next level; it’s not merely about filtering out impurities but about thoughtfully reintroducing beneficial minerals and enhancing alkalinity. It represents a sophisticated upgrade for those who prioritize optimized hydration. Easy to install and fits great with my existing system
So far so good. Healthy water needs to ha e minerals. This filter does that. Water tasted a little salty the first few days but is fine now.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:
100% recommend this product. The whole osmosis filtration system is a super buy. Awesome clean water. Perfect for everyone.
I’m impressed with this osmosis system! Fits perfectly under my sink without sacrificing space. It delivers pure water that tastes amazing. The filter has an indicator to let you know when it needs to be changed, no guesswork. Replacing the filter is easy. It is very quiet and has a flush feature that keeps everything running clean.
So far it has been working nicely. After the flushing during set up, the water tastes good. I trust the water again. Haven’t had to replace filters yet though. I’ve been trying to get my whole house on filtered water so I’ve become pretty confident in installing so it was easy for me but depends on your skill level.
The instructions are easy to follow and the unit is easy to install. One change that would give this a 5 star is a brushed nickel finish version of the spout. Most modern faucets are brushed nickel and the shiny chrome does not match.
Simple to install if you've done this kind of thing before. The RO system takes up about a 3rd of the space of my old system, and has one less filter.
Provides great quality water. I had a plumber install this and it took him couple hours. A little noisy when it recycles the water and runs the filtration but I am used to this as my other ROI machines were noisiest
Install was easy, Home Depot has an install video but neither the manufacturer or Amazon does. Would re-post but content rights prohibited. Sounds like a water pump + sink draining, comparable to a dishwasher. PROS: 3 year RO filter for the same price as a 1yr. (RO filters run $125-150, the carbon filter lasts a year vs 6mos everyone else @ $15-20). It has a topside filter monitor and one on unit so never wonder when it's time to change. Water tastes great. NO PFA, PFB, PFC, PBA, PVC, chloride, NOTHING BUT WATER. CONS: $450 initial cost, pump noise when on, backwash noise as it maintains itself. TIPS: Sink drain stop kills a lot of the noise, buy a few extra clips in 1/4 & 3/8, drink more water! Works great!
- Easy install, these systems all install similar so you can look at any tankless RO installation video on YouTube for guidance, good written instructions
- reasonably quiet/not loud
- auto flush keeps the filters clean and possibly lowers potential bacteria growth. added the waterdrop uv light after just in case
- low operating cost about $85 yrly. for replacement filters as of now: with a $50 yearly replacement of one filter and the other RO filter is $99 every 3yrs
- built in TDS in/out reading
- faucet sits higher up than others accommodating large thermos refills on the counter
- good water flow with 800 model at about 1oz per second which is twice as fast as some other models
- water looks/tastes/smells clean
- no negatives so far
- good attractive & clean device/faucet
- all needed hardware included
Got the plumber to install this instead of attempting myself since I'm a complete noob. But the installation was quick. There really isn't any noise that it makes. The design of the tap goes really well with my white counter top and it's a super convenient thing to use. Not only does it remove the sodium from water softener and improve taste but the hot water is extremely convenient. Whether it's for tea, use in cooking, and cleaning. Easy to use and the hot water lock helps keep it safe around kids.
We are out in the country on a well. Unfortunately, there is farm ground all around and chemicals do get into the underground water that we are tapped into. So, for drinking water, we have to run a reverse osmosis system and thankfully it does a great job of cleaning the water but leaves it lifeless. This little filter does just add enough of something to make the water taste better and I like drinking it more than before...and we all should drink more water.
We started using a MIZUDO brand water purifier once we moved into our new, old house and were told the pipes from the road were made with lead. We had been buying bottle water and lugging them home each week. You could taste a plasticy taste in them and we were so happy to switch to this purification system. We’ve used it so much we finally needed to replace the filters. I was happy to see a MIZUDO brand remineralization filter was available and it popped right into the machine, very easy to install. It started right back up and functions great. So far we haven’t seen any leakage from either the tap, the machine or the filter housings. At the time of this listing the filter was just under $30 and for the amount of water we use in making ice, drinks and washing produce - it’s well worth it! The filter seems to be made well, it fits easily and we’ve very happy with it!
Excellent RO System! Fast flow with TDS meter, highly recommend also I recommend getting the Alkaline filter too. I have a water softener system and the TDS is around 50 this filter brings it to .01 TDS and the alkaline gives me 9.3 PH with 2 Test metes.
Easy to install and definitely improves the taste of the water. I don't have testing equipment, but there's a noticeable difference compared to the filters I've used before. Highly recommend for anyone using a reverse osmosis system who wants better-tasting water!
